there are days when i long to hear the echo of my footsteps

to relive the days when we used to walk together

not with entwined hands, but together

there are nights when i long to lean on my own shadow

hoping to feel the warmth of your chest

the same way it felt when i lay on your bed

as the moon listened to the words left unsaid
